Feasibility Requests for Investigators

Feasibility requests for you as an investigator

Feasibility Sweden enables you as an investigator to assess new studies by collecting and structuring relevant information.

What does this mean for you as an investigator?

As an investigator, you will receive:

  • relevant feasibility requests within your area of expertise
  • a compiled study summary that makes it easier to assess participation
  • the opportunity to express interest in participating in studies
  • the opportunity to contribute your expertise at an early stage

You decide whether to proceed or decline.

How does it work?

Feasibility requests are handled in two steps to make the process more efficient:

Country feasibility

As an expert, you assess whether a study is feasible within Swedish healthcare, for example based on:

  • patient population
  • study design
  • national guidelines

Site feasibility

If the study proceeds, relevant investigators and sites are given the opportunity to express interest in participating.

You do not need to decide on participation until there is a decision to conduct the study in Sweden.

Why does Feasibility Sweden exist?

Fast, coordinated and reliable responses to feasibility requests increase the likelihood that clinical trials are placed in Sweden.

Through Feasibility Sweden, contact between life science companies, researchers and healthcare is coordinated, contributing to:

  • more clinical trials in Sweden
  • increased competence within healthcare
  • early access to innovative treatments for patients
